WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FAMILY RESIDENTIAL PERMIT? HOW TO GET FAMILY RESIDENCE PERMIT?

Family residence permit is regulated in Articles 34 and 37 of the Law on Foreigners and International Protection No. 6458. In addition,  Family residence permit is regulated in articles 30 and 34 of the regulation on the implementation of the Foreigners and International Law.

Who are the foreigners who can be issued a family residence permit?

Turkish citizens, those who are within the scope of Article 28 of Law No. 5901 or foreigners who have one of the residence permits, refugees and subsidiary protection status holders;

a) to her foreign spouse,
b) his or his spouse’s minor foreign child,
c) dependent foreign child of himself or his spouse

Family residence permit can be issued.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FAMILY RESIDENCE PERMIT

> Residence Permit Application Form ( APPOINTMENT DOCUMENT )

> Original and photocopy of passport or substitute document

> 4 photographs (Taken within the last 6 months, with a white background and biometric. Do not upload family photos, selfies, outdated or black-and-white photos that make it difficult for you to be recognized)

> Document showing that they are married

> Original and photocopy of the sponsor’s identity card

> 2 biometric white-back photographs of the sponsor

> Photocopy of ID and passport, if supporting work permit

> Document that the sponsor has sufficient and regular financial means during his stay

> Document regarding the application made to the Social Security Institution to become a general health insurance holder

> Criminal record

> Document showing that it is registered to the Address Registration System
