A holiday program was organized for foreign students from different countries studying at universities in Kayseri.
As part of the “International Students Academy” activities of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and the Zodiac Signs of Civilization Association, students came together at a restaurant in the city due to the Eid al-Adha.
The President of the Association, Ali Dursun, stated that they have been operating within the scope of the International Students Academy for 10 years.
YTB President Abdullah Eren said that almost every city in Turkey receives education from international students from different languages, religions and cultures.
Describing that foreign students are entrusted to them, Eren said:
“More than 240 thousand international students are currently studying all over Turkey. 15 thousand of them receive education within the framework of Turkey scholarships. We have students in various provinces. Currently, face-to-face training is given in more than 170 programs in 12 cities. Turkey More than 6 thousand students participated in the activities of the academy across the country. We care that you receive information about some of the contents that we call Anatolian wisdom, civilizations in Anatolia.”
The program was attended by AK Party Kayseri Deputy and Chairman of the National Turkish Students’ Union İsmail Emrah Karayel, Erciyes University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış, Rector of Kayseri University Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa, YTB Department Heads Adem Günaydın and Oğuzhan Aydın, Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Şükrü Dursun, Kızılay Kayseri Provincial President Cafer Beydilli and foreign students attended.
