The Web-Tapu System and Your Property Sale in Turkiye
The Turkish Land Registry simplified the process through the Web-Tapu system. You must start the sale by applying online. This site lets you upload papers and track your application. You'll get an SMS when it's time for your appointment.
Log in to the Web-Tapu portal with your e-Devlet password to start. Or, you can call the ALO 181 hotline to book a time. After the office checks your papers, they'll text you. This message includes the date, time, and the title deed fee you need to pay.
Essential Documentation for the Transaction
You and the buyer must bring specific papers to finish the sale. If you forget anything, it will delay your appointment. It's best to double-check your folder the night before.
Documents Required for the Seller
- Original ID card and one copy.
- Two biometric photos taken in the last six months.
- Property Tax Clearance Certificate from your local municipality.
- Mandatory Earthquake Insurance (DASK) policy.
