Learn the essential documents required for your Turkey visa application from Uzbekistan in 2024. Follow our expert guide to ensure a smooth and successful process.

Travel Documents for Your Turkish Visa

Applying for a Turkish Visa from Uzbekistan starts with your passport. It needs to be valid for at least six months from the day you enter Turkey. Check your pages too. You'll need at least one blank page for the sticker and stamps. Don't forget to copy every page that has info or old visas. But skip the blank ones.

Biometric Photo Requirements

You need one new biometric photo for your visa application. Make sure it's exactly 5x6 cm with a plain white background. Look straight at the camera and keep your face clear. No hats are allowed unless it's for religious reasons. Use a high-quality print. A scan of an old photo won't work.

Proof of Residence and Legal Status

Your Uzbek passport is usually enough to prove your status. But what if you're living in Uzbekistan with a different nationality? Then you'll need to show a valid residence permit. This proves you're there legally. If you apply from another country, bring your visa or permit for that location.

Professional and Educational Documentation

Your job or school status changes what you need to show. Students need a fresh, original certificate from their school. If you work, get a letter from your boss. It should list your role and your approved vacation dates. This tells the consulate you plan to come home.

Accommodation and Travel Itinerary

You have to prove where you'll sleep. A hotel booking with the address and dates works perfectly. Staying with family? You'll need a notarized letter from them in Turkey instead. It must show their address and how long you're staying.

And don't buy your plane ticket yet. Just show a round-trip reservation for now. Once the ministry approves your request, you can get the final ticket. For transit trips, show proof of your next flight to your final goal.

Financial Means and Bank Statements

Turkey wants to know you can afford your trip. You'll need a bank statement that's signed and stamped. It should show you have at least $50 for every day you're there. So, a 10-day trip needs $500. Get the statement in English or Turkish if you can. Otherwise, you might need a translation.

Travel Insurance and Visa Fees

Health insurance is a must for any Turkish Visa. You need a specific policy that covers your whole stay. You can usually buy this right at the application center. Remember, you have to pay the fees upfront. They won't give the money back if they say no. So, check your papers twice before you pay. Getting your paperwork right is the best way to get your visa.
