You must show where you will stay in Turkey. A confirmed hotel reservation is standard. The document must clearly state the hotel address and your specific check-in and check-out dates. If you plan to stay with friends or family, you need a notarized invitation letter from your host in Turkey. This letter serves as a formal guarantee of your accommodation.

Financial Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate they can afford their stay. You must provide a bank account statement from a Turkish bank or a bank in your current country of residence. The statement must show a minimum balance equivalent to $50 for every day you intend to spend in Turkey. This document must be signed and officially sealed by the bank to be considered valid.

Travel Insurance and Flight Logistics

Travel insurance is mandatory and must be valid for the Republic of Turkey. You also need a flight reservation. Do not purchase the full ticket until your visa is approved; a confirmed reservation is sufficient. The flight path must match your application type:

• Standard Entry: Round trip from Ercan (ECN) to Turkey and back to ECN.
• Single Transit: From ECN to Turkey and then to a third country.
• Double Transit: A multi-leg journey involving ECN, Turkey, and other international destinations.

Visa Fees and Processing

Visa fees must be paid in advance at the time of application. Be aware that these fees are non-refundable. If your application is rejected or if you choose to withdraw it, the embassy or consulate will not return the payment.
