Foreigners with an Appointment at the Istanbul Migration Administration Between 15-26 June 2020.
Learn the essential steps for your Istanbul residence permit appointment. Our guide covers the latest application procedures and document submission requirements.
The Istanbul Immigration Administration changed the process for your residence permit because of the pandemic. You don't need to visit the office for your meeting anymore. Instead, you must mail your documents to the authorities. This change helps manage your residence permit appointment without crowds.
If your appointment falls between June 15, 2020, and June 26, 2020, this applies to you. You must mail your files between June 1, 2020, and June 12, 2020. Make sure you send them to the correct Immigration Administration address.
Mailing Your Residence Permit Appointment Files
We suggest using registered mail so you can track your envelope. The staff will review your documents once they arrive. But don't wait too long, as you must meet the mailing deadline.
