New Limits on the Short-Term Residence Permit in Turkey
These rules apply if you enter the country after February 10, 2022, using a visa or visa exemption. They also apply if you've been away for more than 90 days since your last permit. The government won't grant a permit under Article 33 of Law No. 6458 just for "tourism purposes" anymore. You need a strong, justified reason to stay.
