International students in Kayseri gathered for a special holiday program to celebrate cultural exchange and academic life in Turkey through YTB initiatives.

International Students Celebrate Eid al-Adha in Kayseri

Students from all over the world met in Kayseri to celebrate the Eid al-Adha holiday. This event was part of the International Students Academy. It helps international students in Kayseri build a community while living far from home. The YTB and the Zodiac Signs of Civilization Association hosted the meal at a local restaurant. It's a great way to make new friends and feel at home.

Supporting International Students in Kayseri for a Decade

Ali Dursun leads the Zodiac Signs of Civilization Association. He spoke about the long history of their work. The group has worked with the academy for 10 years now. These programs give you a support network while you study. They help you fit into Turkish life while you keep your own culture. So, the academy acts like a bridge between your home and local traditions.

How Turkey Welcomes International Students in Kayseri

Abdullah Eren, the YTB President, shared big numbers about international students in Kayseri and across Turkey. Right now, over 240,000 students from other countries study at Turkish universities. They bring many different languages and religions to our schools. Eren says these students are guests and a key part of our academic community.

Out of the total student population, 15,000 get help through the Turkey Scholarships program. The academy runs face-to-face training in 170 programs across 12 cities. More than 6,000 students joined these activities nationwide this year alone. It shows how much the program is growing.

Focus on Anatolian Wisdom and History

The academy isn't just about social parties. It teaches you about Anatolian wisdom and history. You'll learn about the many civilizations that lived here in the past. By teaching these things, the YTB helps you understand the deep roots of the land where you study. And it makes your time in Turkey much richer.

Distinguished Guests and Institutional Support

The event had many high-level leaders in attendance. You could see people like Deputy İsmail Emrah Karayel and Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış there. Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa and Director Şükrü Dursun also joined the meal. Their presence shows how much the government cares about your well-being.

Local officials and university heads want to make sure international students in Kayseri have a great experience. They finished the meeting by talking about new ways to help foreign scholars. They want to ensure you have everything you need to succeed in your studies.
