Planning a trip to Turkey from Dubai? Our expert guide covers all the essential documents and requirements you need for a successful visa application process.
Essential Documents for a Turkey Visa from Dubai
Getting a Turkey visa from Dubai takes some planning. You might be a UAE resident or a visitor. Either way, you need the right paperwork to avoid a rejection. This guide helps you gather everything before your appointment.
1. Passport and Identification
Your passport is your most important paper. It needs to stay valid for six months after you enter Turkey. Make sure it has two blank pages for stamps.
- Passport Copies: Give clear copies of the data page. Include all old visas and stamps. Don't include blank pages.
- UAE Residency Visa: If you aren't a UAE citizen, show your residency visa. It should be valid for three to six months after you return.
- Emirates ID: Send a copy of the front and back of your card.
2. Biometric Photographs
You need two recent biometric photos. The Turkish consulate is strict about these. They must be fresh and clear.

- Size must be 5x6 cm.
- The background must be plain white.
- Your face should be centered and fill 70-80% of the photo.
- Don't wear glasses or hats unless for religious reasons.
3. Proof of Professional Status
The consulate wants to see your job status. They need to know you have ties to the UAE and will return.
- For Employees: Get an original No Objection Certificate (NOC). It must be on company paper with a stamp. It should list your salary, role, and leave dates.
- For Business Owners: Share your UAE Trade License. Write a short letter about what your company does.
- For Students: Get a fresh enrollment letter from your school or university in the UAE.
4. Financial Stability Documents
You have to show you can pay for your trip. Usually, you need at least $50 for every day you spend in Turkey.
- Bank Statements: Show original statements from the last three to six months. The bank must sign and stamp these.
- Salary Slips: These aren't always required. But, adding your last three pay slips helps your visa application.
5. Travel and Accommodation Arrangements
Officials want to see your travel plans. Don't buy expensive tickets until you get your visa.
- Flight Reservations: Show a round-trip booking with your entry and exit dates.
- Hotel Booking: Have a confirmed stay that fits your flight dates. If you stay with friends, get an invitation letter from a Turkish notary.
- Travel Insurance: You must have insurance for your whole trip. It needs to cover medical costs and flying you home if you get sick.
6. Visa Fees
Fees change based on your passport and visa type. You'll pay at centers like VFS Global or Gateway Globe. Remember, you won't get this money back if they deny your visa.
The Application Process in Dubai
To get your Turkey visa from Dubai, you must book an appointment at a service center. Show up on time with your papers ready. It usually takes 5 to 15 working days to process. But it can take longer during busy times like Eid or summer. So, plan ahead to avoid stress.
