DO I HAVE TO GET WORK PERMIT FOR FOREIGN COMPANY PARTNERS?

Do foreign nationals who own a company in Turkey or want to become a company partner have to obtain a work permit? We will tell you about this in this blog post.

TO OBTAIN WORK PERMITS OF COMPANY PARTNERS

established in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102; 
* Director of limited companies, who is the partner of the company,
* Member of the board of directors who is a company partner of joint stock companies,
* Foreigners who are  commandite partners of limited partnerships whose capital is divided into shares can work by obtaining a work permit.

established in accordance with the Law No. 6102 
* Non-managing partner of other companies, ie manager, member of the board of directors, etc. and only those who are partners are considered within the scope of work permit exemption.

If you are the director of the company, you must obtain a work permit. You are exempt from work permit only if you are a partner.
